Post 30th Birthday Bash

So we are playing catch up here alittle bit, just to bring everyone up to speed and for those that missed the par-tay of the century we celebrated Keshas big 3-0, or in my dads terms, 30th trip around the sun on Fri. Feb. 1st.. Kesha decided to be wined and dined at the Miller compound, AKA Jordan Commons and feast upon the chefs 'especial' at the Mayan. I know, I know, you're probably thinking, "the Mayan, of all places"!? I too as a loving and thoughtful husband asked, "are you sure, the Mayan.....!?" but all question quickly left me as I saw her smiles as we sat down and the show began.............(just remember, it's a family show, nonetheless) men, cliff divers, in their young 20's ripped and fearless only clothed only amongest their loins plunging into a small water cavern below, how heroic. You be the judge and tell me if this picture doesn't just say it all!?
We had reservations (kind of) for 30 people. Only 25 mins. after our arrival we were told that the computer system throughout the restaurant had crashed and they would not be serving any new tables for 1.5-2 hrs. or until they regained usage of the system. This was alittle frustrating being that we had a huge group and were suppose to be the next party sat. We had several families with small kids some who had even driven great distances. I couldn't blame anyone who could not wait to eat by this time it was around 7 pm and the kids were hungry! I tried calling around to every restaurant nearby but where are you going to find somewhere to accomodate 30 people on a Fri. night at 7pm........exactly, so we waited it out, a few had to leave but most stayed. Kudos however to Mr. Larry Miller and staff, for anyone willing to wait it out they provided some appetizers, chips and salsa, drinks and per the birthday girls wishes free admittance to 'the show' until further notice. Luckily for us it only ended up being a 30 min. wait so we were sat by 7:30 and almost had the restaurant to ourselves. Thanks to MOST of our peeps for sticking around, those of you who left, know who you are and so I won't bother mentioning names Crystals and Palmers! Those that stuck around deserve a place in this post, although I don't promise that you will see yourself or your family it was hard to get everyone. Well, I won't bore you with any more details but enjoy somemore birthday pics........
Kesha's Birthday cake, after dinner we headed up the street to our casa for cake and ice cream. Did you remember to make a wish?? Can anyone say, "Flaaav-a-Flave"!? Kesha's birthday present from Hubby and Son! PS, this isn't a big clock cause Kesha wanted a HUGE clock and that's what she got, the picture doesn't do this baby justice, and niether do our vaulted ceilings! Happy 30th Sweetie!

This totally sounds like something Nick would do. What a great husband. I can actually picture him talking in this blog entry.
