Christmas Eve 2008

This year was our year to be with Nick's family for Christmas. I had Christmas Eve off so I spent it grocery shopping and getting ready for the big night. We went to Nick's family's house and went to a movie (7 pounds). I hear it was a depressing movie...but didn't see it myself. I watched about the first 20 minutes of the movie when Boston decided that he was done in the theatre so....we spent the remainder of the movie out in the lobby area walking around, going up and down the stairs (that was the LONGEST movie I have ever been to I think). Hehehe. Afterwards we went home, got our snow clothes on and battled the cold and wind. We went to temple square to look at the lights. I forgot my camera so when I get Nick's mom's chip then I'll upload more pictures from that night. Boston just kept saying, "Oh Boy - pretty". Whitney and Eddie didn't join us this year. Whitney has been really sick with her ulcerative colitis (sp???) and so she stayed home. We got home and had our yummy soup and bread bowls (MMMMM) with Nick's favorite hot queso dip and chips. We just ate and ate and ate and ate some more. We draw names in his family and we exchanged gifts. Boston and Sadie got more toys and clothes than they knew what to do with. They were so happy that night ... playing with their NEW toys. We stayed over at the Scott family casa and slept in until around 10 a.m. (I'm afraid not many more Christmases where we will be able to sleep in like that so we enjoyed every minute of it). We spent christmas at his parents house. Grandpa & Grandma Davis came over after the gift opening and we had a dinner with them that night along with Steve, Cathy and Hailee. We played a little Wii (as you can see Gpa Davis bowling ... his favorite. It snowed so much that we stayed over one more night. When we finally arrived back at our house, our nice nice neighbors (Brion) had shoveled our 2 feet of snow off our driveway. Thanks Brion!! We had such a great Christmas!!!!!
