2009 Millcreek Yurt Trip

For the past 7 years or so, we've been going up to Millcreek Canyon and you park at the gate and then cross-country ski to the top (which is 4 1/2 miles). At the top, you get to take your skiis off and enjoy the warmth of a fire and stay overnight. This year it was Nick's dad, his dad's friend and his boys and us (yes I was the only girl that battled my way up there this year). I haven't been the past 2 years. Boston was so little last year and I didn't want to leave him and the year before, I was pregnant so I didn't go up. This year was a lot of fun up there. We stayed up until 1 or 2 a.m. playing cards, ate lots of food and had a fabulous time! We came down early the next morning. When we left the yurt it was snowing pretty hard but let up not far down the trail. Thanks for another great trip to the yurt!!!
