I am behind on my posts for the blog ... I am trying to catch up so I will probably have a few in the next few days. The first one I wanted to post was on July 11, 2009, Nick, Whitney, Rylee, Lisa (Ry's friend) and my cousin Jeff all did the Echo Triathlon. They all did a GREAT job - I was really impressed with all of them!!! Here are a few pictures from the Triathlon. It was fun to watch and it was overcast so perfect weather for the athletes.
Later that day, we all loaded up the boat and tested the waters (it was a bit too choppy but we had a nice cruise that day). Sadie and Boston woke up really really early to go watch Mom Whitney and Dad Nick so they were a bit tired but they had a lot of fun on the boat!

Congratulations triathletes. I haven't done one since before I had kids. Oh wait, I did a mini one this past year at the rec center when I was pregnant. It's a lot funner to swim when your pregnant cause you can float in the water.
OOps for some reason I'm signed under my husband's name. It's Heather Ballard.
I'm so impressed with Nick's determination! Once we have our babies WE should do a trianthlon next summer.
