Friday, July 31st, Boston turned the Big TWO years old. My mom and dad had been watching him in Vernal (THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE FOR WATCHING HIM THERE - he loved having a little buddy Grayson to play with for a whole week) so I met them all at the zoo (that was the longest week ever ... waiting for my little buddy to come back home). My side of the family took Boston to the zoo during the day and he actually really liked the animals this time. Of course, his favorite is the choo-choo train but he was really enthralled with one baby monkey who kept swinging back and forth and jumping on its mom. He also loved seeing the baby giraffe who was born just 24 hours before we saw it ... reall wobbly legs (wish I would have gotten a picture).
That night we all celebrated at our house with both sides of the family for his birthday. His car cake (as you can see...was amazing)! He got lots of toys to play with and some new clothes. He loved his rocket, cars, train/car track, cars, trike, cars...oh yes, did I say he loved his cars? He has to go to sleep with his cars every single night in his bed. The past two nights, he'll whisper to me..."Mommy" and I'll respond, "yes buddy?" Then he'll say, "Choo-choo and caboose". He then puts his train and caboose in his hands til he falls asleep. In the morning when he wakes up, he must grab his train and caboose! Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate the big TWO years old. I can't believe he is already two years old...where has the time gone?
