It has been so hot the past couple of days, that we thought that we would take the kids up the canyon yesterday after church to try to cool off a bit. We went with Nick's parents and grandparents and had a little BBQ up there. It was so busy up Millcreek that we could barely find a spot. We made our own spot by the river since the designated picnic areas were FULL of PEOPLE!!

Easton was enjoying himself just watching everyone and listening to the creek water.

Boston was seeing which would go down the river faster ... the flower or the boat (water bottle). We finally made tinfoil boats and he put people (sticks) in them and raced them down the waterfalls with his daddy.

Tinfoil boats ... a pasttime and memory of his dad's when he was growing up. Now he's teaching his little boy how to make tinfoil boats and float them.

Hey girl! Cute pics! I have to apologize--i TOTALLY spaced texting you back the other day. I really appreciate the invite and hope that we can try again soon. Hope you are well.
Where to start... first of all, that cute little Easton sitting smiling in his stroller. Then Boston's freakin cute shoes. Then Boston's cute-as-always comments (sticks = people in the boats LOL). Love it! Love your posts. Keep 'em coming. We need to make it up the canyon together this summer still!!
