Temple Square

My family came out to Salt Lake to do some Christmas shopping this past weekend.  While they were here, we went to Temple Square to see the lights.  We all had a really good time seeing the lights (FYI for future visits ... they turn the lights off at 10:00 sharp!!)

I love Christmas time.  I get my love for Christmas from my mom and Grandma.  They LOVE Christmas (their christmas music starts a little earlier than mine) but I love this time of year....making candy together, looking at Christmas lights, listening to the christmas music, the excitement of Santa, the cozy fire and chrismtas lights inside the house (yes dear, we don't have the fire place ... we have the entertainment center instead ;) - hehehe), holiday parties, gingerbread houses, the feel of love and peace in the air during the holidays and the thoughtfulness of everyone around this time of year.  Kids make it so fun as well ... the true meaning of Christmas comes out in each of them.

Nick and I were trying to decide which traditions from both families we are going to incorporate and ones that we are going to add to our own little family.  What are some fun traditions each of you do around Christmas?
