Last Friday night (December 19th) - we took the kids to Heber and met my sister Alexis and her family at the Heber Valley Railroad to board the North Pole Express which took us to the North Pole. The kids eyes were bright the whole ride. They loved every minute. We got to sing songs with Bubbles the Elf, the host, and try some hot chocolate from Chef Bon-Bon and Mrs. Claus' famous chocolate chip cookies. She gave everyone the recipe. Boston even talked Aunt Rylee into making them for him while she was watching them while we did some Christmas shopping ;) I think we need to get a new cookie recipe to Mrs. Claus - she hasn't had the time to perfect them quite yet. :) We also got to meet Mrs. Claus and Santa who gave them a bell to ring. Payten (once again) became hysterial and watched Santa the entire time - never letting her eyes wander off him...cautious of his every move and making sure he did not get remotely CLOSE to her!! We had heard mixed reviews of this ride but the kids loved it and we were so glad that we took them! Fun night with cousins!
