Garbage...

Lately Boston has had a faddish with the garbage. Whenever he has a diaper that we change or wipe his nose with a tissue, he immediately wants to take it to the garbage can. He is becoming so helpful ... almost too helpful. The other day I went to throw something away and noticed toys in there so I started digging down in the garbage only to find some fish toys, his sippy cup, food that I thought he had eaten but he just went and threw it in the garbage can. Who knows what else has gone to the garbage without me knowing about it. Last weekend during the Superbowl/birthday party, we had some fruit. It was a little soggy and had an interesting taste to it so needless to say not much of it got eaten. I threw the plastic container in the garbage with all the fruit. A few hours later, I went in the kitchen to find the garbage lid off, a spoon in one of Boston's hands and his other hand inside the garbage eating all the fruit. I think he must have had at least 20 pieces of fruit ... he thought it was pretty good fruit!

That is too funny! At least he doesn't have a fascination with the bottles under the sink, right?
