Sad to say, I still have Boston on the bottle (mainly just for his nap and nighttime). I keep meaning to get him off and have been putting it off. When does a full-time working mom have time to help get their child off a bottle. I don't know if it's more of a comfort for him (or for me)?? So I decided that Monday would be the day. Yesterday was the first day without the bottle. I cut a hole in the top of the nipple and told him it was broken. He walked around for about 5 minutes showing Nick and I the bottle and just saying, "Bottle broken, bottle broken." He had the saddest little look on his face. I felt so bad but realized that it's time to get off the bottle. We finally convinced him to throw it in the garbage. Yesterday was a rough day without it and it took a bit to get him to go to sleep last night but I'm sticking to it and hopefully he'll be fine in a couple of days.

LOL "bottle broken, bottle broken." that is too funny. I hope it goes well and very quickly at that!

Oh! So cute! I think taking things away is WAY harder on the moms. (and I think the kids sense that and exploit it too-- cute little devils) Good luck staying strong! =S

Good job!! I took Bryckmen's away about 2 months ago and he did fine and he sees bottles aand doesn't even want them so Boston will be fine. But i am nervous about the pacifier still, yeah he still has it. I'm not sure when we are going to salt lake Luke has been out of town like crazy for work so we like to sit home and relax when he is home but we will call you.
