Frosty the Snowman

Did someone say the First Day of Spring is this Saturday????? Does this look like Spring? Well Nick and Boston took advantage of the snowfall this past weekend. They decided to build Frosty. Boston was really excited to help dad (but he only wanted to help put the face, hat, pipe, and scarf on him. He didn't want to help roll the snow into his body. As you can see, we have no more snow in our entire yard as Nick rolled every square inch of snow into this snowman. Boston kept wanting to give him a hug and wave to him. The next morning, Frosty had already started to melt and he keeps saying, "Hold me up so I can see Frosty in the window." We'll hold him up and he says, "We'll see you next year Frosty." This was some HEAVY WET snow. After Nick rolled the body into three different parts, he tried lifting one onto the other ... it was soooo heavy that he came and asked me to help. Some help I was ... we couldn't lift it with the two of us. We tried getting a board and rolling the snowballs up the board onto the base of the body. Well needless to say, the board broke in half. We then had to take the head and make that into the body and make a smaller head just so we could lift them. The things we do for our kids right??

What a great way to get rid of the snow! Very cute. To dye our snowman we just put food coloring in water and we sprayed it on with a water bottle that I use for my hair :) Tryn loved it. Hope you are doing good!!
