Sorry for the long post. I've been a little behind and I am going to try to be more diligent in my blogging so that at the end of the year, I can turn my 2010 blog into a photo album for us so this year may have a few more pictures and more writings so I can add it to our book). I'll warn everyone now in case you don't want to read the details of our lives.
This was my first week back to work since Easton was born and it was hard to drop my two little boys off on Monday morning. I was doing okay until Kay asked, "Are you doing okay?" I cried all the way to work. The past six weeks sure were fun being home with both Boston and Easton. We went to the library a few times. Boston loves reading books. We visited Chuck E Cheese, Nickelcade, Jungle Jims Playland, McDonalds, hiked, went on a few walks when it was warm enough outside, St. George, and both grandparents and all great-grandparents homes. Boston is really into the movie Cars and has I don't know how many cars from that movie that he drives all over, mostly from one of the couch to the other). He also loves Thomas the Train and we have a huge train track that I seem to build a few times a day and pick up every night (I don't know why I just don't leave it up). He loves Little Einsteins and plays with his rocket constantly and sings part of the song, "Pat Pat Clap Clap - now raise your arms as high as you can and say Blast Off" and then says Hold on Tight cuz here we go."
This night we went with the Ericsons to Nickelcade. I don't know who enjoyed the games more ... the boys or the dads? The kids just loved the tootsie rolls and whistles they got at the end. And why would dad choose a whistle of all things? We heard a constant whistle until he went to bed that night!!

One night we went with the Crows to Jungle Jims playland and then to eat and play at McDonalds. Ashton wasn't too sure of the rides but eventually liked riding in the jeeps together and then they kept returning to the merry-go-round.

Boston loved this little train that you put tokens in. He rode it about 5 times in a row and probably would have more if we didn't make him let other kids have a turn on it.

These are comparable to the teacups at Disneyland. Um, I'm not sure who got more sick ... me or Boston!

This is Easton at 6 weeks. He is smiling a lot and making lots of cooing sounds. Boston loves to get really close to his face and talk to him. He always says, "I love you. We love you. Yes we do." Easton just grins from ear to ear when he sees Boston.

We took a trip to Chuck e Cheese with Whitney and Sadie. They loved the rides. Whitney and I kept trying to get them to go to the photo booth. They were squirming and trying to get away while we were holding them trying to get a 'cute' picture for grandma. Well Whitney and I were laughing so hard at all the 'attempted pictures' of half our bodies, screaming kids, or arms covering faces.

This is one day where Boston refused to get out of his jammies. I think he would wear them all day if I would let him. He loves playing with his toys. He watches Little Einsteins while blasting off his rocket. He also plays with his little school people in the rocket and his bus. This is just after he has finished singing his rocket song and blasting it off into pretend space! I love to hear him pretend and talk to his toys. The other day he was holding his Buzz Light Year action figure and he was saying, "Buzz, you are just a toy. To infinity and Beyond!"

We also took a trip to Vernal to visit my family. Boston and Grayson played together. Why is it that little ones ALWAYS want the same toy?? Also, we tried and tried to get them to take a picture together. They would refuse. We finally tried to bribe them with some fruit snacks and candy. They sat there but wouldn't smile. We did a little shopping, went to lunch and just hung out in Vernal with my family so they could see the two boys.

Alexis and Easton - (I hope I can look that skinny again after having a baby)
