We went to Vernal this weekend to spend Easter with the Monsens. The drive out was pretty snowy!!! Boston had been in Vernal with Grandma and Grandpa for the week so it was just Easton, Nick and I. Easton slept the entire way out there and we braved the snowy roads. They were snowpacked and slippery but we finally made it home after a LONG drive. It looked more like Christmas than Easter outside as we were driving.

The next morning, we got up early and went to the Naples Park for an Easter egg hunt. If you know our family, we are constantly late to things. As we pulled into the parking lot, we heard the person through the megaphone say, "On your mark...get set...GO". Nick and Boston made a mad dash for the park where they were lucky to get some candy. Mike, Alexis and Grayson met us at the park. Grayson was more interested in running in the open fields than seeing the candy or the Easter Bunny. Boston had to wait in line to see the Easter Bunny.

He loves characters like that and could just cuddle with them forever if we would let him. Grayson and Boston then played at the park for awhile.

We then went to McDonalds for a healthy breakfast of sausage, eggs and burritos.

We hurried home to go on our annual picnic. This weekend was not a weekend for good weather ... the wind was blowing like crazy so we changed our plans and went to Great G&G Walker's house for our picnic lunch and an Easter egg hunt. Bryckmen, Boston and Grayson loved finding their eggs and treats outside.

That night the boys went to the priesthood session of General Conference while the girls got a pedicure from Alexis (thanks - my toes look great). Yesterday, we enjoyed watching the prophet and other speakers counsel us during General Conference and remind us of the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and why we have the Easter holiday.

We had a nice Easter dinner (thanks to my mom) and then it was home to battle the snow once more. Happy Easter and Conference weekend!! Boston Finding Easton's Easter Basket
