Memorial Weekend in St. George with Mike, Lex, Grayson and Baby Harrington

I feel like I haven't got to spend quality time with my sister since her and Mike have been back from law school in Cincinatti ... so over Memorial weekend, we decided to take our families on our little trip to St. George!  It was a blast!  I'm so glad we did it - the boys loved playing all together and we the guys had fun together and my sister and I got to spend quality time catching up and just laughing together.  Thanks Mike and Alexis for going to St. George - we had a blast with you!!!!

We rented a 3 bed/2bath house in St. George for the weekend.  We had a great weekend in a fun little house with our two families.We took our bikes down and the first morning went on a bike ride with the bike trailer and then switched off walking/running on the trail with the stroller.  We ended up at the beach where the boys played in the water/mud/sand for a very long time.  We didn't know we were going to be gone so long and Alexis and I came back a little RED from the sun.  It just felt so good to finally have some good weather to enjoy all day (with no rain).  That afternoon we went swimming with Blake and Rylee (they were down for a Miller family reunion and let us join the crowd for a dip in the pool).  Mike and Nick enjoyed a round of golf.  We went to the splash pad, swam, hiked to Red Cliffs (what a fun hike for the boys).  As soon as we saw the trailhead, Boston and Grayson were on a RUN the entire way.  The guys enjoyed a swim in the pools while we enjoyed our sandwiches/lunch.  We played some pickleball, did some more swimming, and ate.  We had went grocery shopping and each night made dinner at our place and during the day lunches for the road on whatever adventure we were on.  After the kids were all in bed, the four of us stayed up playing games, talking and laughing until around 3 am each night.  Fun times! 

Lex, it was fun to hang out with you and spend some quality time with our families.  Thanks for making the long haul to St. George with us to spend time together!  I love you and am so grateful to have you as my sister!  Alexis, Mike, Grayson, and Baby Harrington (my sister is 13 weeks pregnant) we love you all tons!  Let's do another trip soon !! By the time we left, all three boys were COVERED in mud, sand and were soaking wet ... they sure had fun though

We took turns riding the bikes and running with the stroller - it was the guys' turn to run with the boys while Lex and I took a ride on the bikes!

We went to Las Palmas with Rylee and Blake at their pool for a day.  Thanks for letting us come crash the Miller party! What a nice day for a dip in the pool!

We visited Grandma Scott a couple of times and enjoyed some activities in our front yard with the boys, had a BBQ, played pickle ball, and took a swim at her pool

We cannot leave home without TRAINS ... Boston has loved trains for quite awhile and is still in love with them.  He plays them everywhere we go (as you can see, shiny red James is taking a ride in the rocks)

Boston and Grayson tried out some water wings down in the pool and were quite pleased with themselves when they discovered they could stay up themselves and swim - what an accomplishment - YEAH!
