Tonight after work, we took the boys to Seven Peaks. We bought the "Pass of All Passes" and decided we needed to put it to good use. We ran over there - the weather was perfect tonight. Who else loves summer nights???? Boston has been taking swimming lessons (and it hasn't been too fun for me). As soon as he knows we are going to swimming, it is a constant cry until we get to the pool and then I have to run around the pool chasing him just to get him into the water. I spend the next 15 minutes listening to him cry. He is learning all the fundamental skills for swimming...he just cries as he is doing it. I don't understand why but he really is doing well. Tonight was the first time in the water for 'fun' instead of for 'lessons'. He got to show dad how he can float on his back like a starfish and he kept doing it over and over and over. He was so proud of himself tonight. Even if we didn't go for long tonight, it was a confidence booster for him to be in the water. It was nice to him 'happy' in the water instead of fighting and wanting to get out. I am hoping sometime soon that he'll WANT to get into the water instead of being FORCED into the water. We had a great time tonight with just the four of us hanging out at Seven Peaks.

So was it kid friendly? Is there just a small place for little ones? We need to go sometime, we haven't gone yet! That's awesome boston is swimming on his back! Sorry that he screams though, that is so not fun.
Fun! i love summer nights too. I need to get Brycky in swim lessons. He loves to swim lately, and Cooper loves water too kinda makes me nervous cause he is more of a dare devil then Brycky ever has been, so swim lessons for him too.
