After Mexico, we got back on a plane and flew to the LAX Airport, rented a van and went to Disneyland. Rylee, Blake and Eddie continued on to Salt Lake and the rest of us went to Disneyland.
I think we'll always remember this trip as one where Nick and Kesha brought waaaay too much luggage. It was definitely hard getting 2 car seats, umpteen many luggages and carry-ons, stroller and kids off the airplane, to the shuttle, into the rental, and over and over again a few times during the entire Mexico/Disneyland trip. But we sure had a lot of fun with the kids. I went to Disneyland when I returned home from my mission and I do not remember anything from Disneyland. I remember Universal Studios and Seaworld but it was fun to take the kids and experience all this stuff with them. We had a great time. We stayed right across the street from the entrance at the Park Vue Inn. We had free parking, free breakfast, free happy hour which included a light dinner, etc. It was a great hotel to be right across the street for anyone that wanted to go to/from the Happiest Place on Earth. We should have done naps but our kids slept in their strollers at the park for an hour or so all the days we were there. They crashed at night when we returned to the hotel.
Friday we went to Disneyland the entire day and we found out Easton and Boston's favorite rides right off the bat. Easton LOVED It's a Small World. He was dancing and singing the entire boat ride (we had to go on that once twice since he loved it so much). Boston's favorite ride was Finding Nemo in the submarine under water (he went on that one twice as well. More than anything, our two boys LOVED seeing all the characters. They would have been content to just wait in line to see any character, give them a hug and high five and be on their way. They would stand in line and then the few seconds you take pictures, didn't seem like enough time with them. It was so cute to see. Sadie did not join us on those - she was petrified of ANY character except for the princesses so we saw the characters while she went to Fairyland where she even got a fairy princess dress (Belle). Boston had been saving his money in his Disneyland Jar (acquiring money for doing good deeds and losing money for not listening or obeying). He was so excited when we took him to the BIG Disney Store where he got his spy plane off Cars 2 and Easton got a soft stuffed Pluto which he now takes to bed every night with him. Grandma even got them Pooh and Tigger which they carry around with them as well.

Mrs. King told Boston this Peter Pan ride was her favorite so he had to make sure to go to Peter Pan. He really enjoyed it. It was true ... shortest ride, longest line. |

Easton's favorite ride ... IT'S A SMALL WORLD! |

Mickey Mouse's house ... Boston really liked going through Mickey's house and seeing him at the end |

Finding Nemo Ride ... Boston's Favorite |
Saturday we went over to California Adventures and spent the day there. Everyone was at Disneyland that day and the lines were not long at all the day we went to California! The kids got to enjoy a lot of rides and shows due to the lines not being so long. We went to a show (my favorite) Disney's Aladdin - it was a play that lasted about an hour. The kids were great through the entire performance - it was such a GREAT performance - the Genie made the play. We were glad we took the time to go see it.

Boston asked if we could come back when the Lightning Ride is finished in 2012 (guess we'll start saving our pennies again so we can go see it in the future sometime) for now we got to take a picture with his favorite Lightning McQueen |

We took the boys to a 3D Bug Life Adventure Movie .... not the greatest idea ! Nick and I loved the show and thought it was so clever but the boys screamed during the entire thing ... mists being sprayed at them, seats moving/vibrating, bugs coming at you from all angles, etc. Good thing we got this picture BEFORE the movie |

These flowers were so pretty - they were everyone in California Adventures! |

No I'm not riding this ride by myself ... I have three little munchkins in these ladybugs (they go round and round like the teacups) and I was laughing hysterically at all three of them who were screaming and laughing the entire ride!! They begged to go again but once was good enough for me. |

I love these little guys!
This was right before the World of Color Show |
The last morning, we only spent a few hours before we had to head to the airport but we went to the show Disney Jr. Live on Stage in California Adventures. The kids love watching the shows such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake & the Neverland Pirates, Little Einsteins, and Handy Manny so we went over and saw this show. The kids were jumping up and down and loved the show! Then we ended in Disneyland with a few more of our favorite rides and a couple we had not done. What a fun trip to Disneyland!!! It was fun to be with our little boys and watch the excitement on their faces as we went on their favorite rides and saw their favorite characters - I love my boys!!!!!

Happy Birthday Mom! Kathy's birthday was on Sunday (the day we left Disneyland and headed for home) and she got to experience part of it at the Happiest Place on Earth! |

How fun! Your boys are so cute! Ella keeps asking to go to Disneyland. *sigh* One of these days. We'll have to wait until after 2012 when the Lightning ride is open.
You will surely remember 2011
Looks like a fun time! Such a fun place with kids!
Wow! You've had some fun times this year. I sure love Mexico AND Disneyland.
Great pics, Kesha!
