Day Out with Gma Julie and Gpa Gary

My parents came out to take my youngest brother Logan to a basketball camp up to the University of Utah.  After they signed him in and got him taken care of for the week, we met them at the Hogle Zoo for a day out.  It was perfect weather (not too hot and not too cold).  I think because of this, the animals were all up and not sleeping (except for the Tigers..I think they slept the entire day).  They especially liked the train ride with Grandma and Grandpa.  We brought in sandwiches and had a picnic lunch inside the zoo and then looked at all the animals.

After the zoo, it was time for Boston's last t-ball game.  He has really enjoyed playing t-ball.  He was especially glad to finally get his trophy.  He didn't put the trophy down (except to sleep) for about three days after the game.  He took it with him EVERYWHERE and now it sits proudly on his nightstand so he can see his trophy.

After the game, everyone joined us at Cafe Rio for a little t-ball celebration.  What a great night to sit outside and have the kids run around and play on the Rio bus while the adults talked :) What a fun day!
