A couple of weeks ago, the weather was gorgeous outside. Nick went ice fishing with a friend and his dad. The kids and I enjoyed lunch out with some family and then went to the park. The boys were having a blast out there. Nick called and asked us to get our snow stuff and meet him on the way up to Soldier Hollow to join the Nelsons for some tubing at Soldier Hollow! Sun to snow ... didn't sound fun but I'm sure glad we went. Easton fell asleep right as we pulled into the parking lot so Nick took Boston up tubing with Sydney and her family. I fed the baby in the truck and then woke Easton up. He was pretty cranky so I took him and the baby inside their lodge. Easton laid on the couch with a pillow and blanket and fell asleep for the entire two hours that Nick and Boston were tubing. The baby and I relaxed in the lodge on a couch as well near the fire and I sipped some hot chocolate. It was very relaxing. Boston and Nick had a great father/son date tubing. He was in need of some good one-on-one time with dad (but I was in the lodge so I didn't get any pictures of them tubing).
