We took our annual Scott-Nelson camping/boating trip the weekend of August 8-9th. The kids took their bikes and rode so much around the camp spot loop. The four kids had a ball on their bikes while the two babies played toys and colored with chalk on the cement. Brandon and Nick enjoyed some fishing in the river while Jodi and I chatted away and relaxed by the fire. Saturday was spent being lazy in the morning around the camp spot and the afternoon on the lake. The kids attempted to knee board (took a little Dollar Store bribery to convince them to jump in and try the knee board but they finally consented). We played on the beach, played horse shoes, had some lunch, and enjoyed being on the lake with the kids. Great Scott-Nelson trip!! Can't wait until the next one!!
