What a fun 4th of July weekend up at Rockport. We left Thursday night and headed for Rockport, set up camp, and pulled the boat on the lake to mark our spot for the weekend. Next morning, we jet skied and played with Blake/Rylee and Ruby for a little bit. Then the Nelsons joined us on Friday and Saturday for a weekend "NEVER TO REMEMBER" with the Nelson/Scott clan. We all had a blast ... boating, tubing, sleeping in the tent, hot dogs/brats, tinfoil dinners, crawdad fishing, swimming in the lake, telling stories by the campfire, and playing in the soft sand on the beach we had mostly to ourselves all weekend. The water was 74 degrees so the kids jumped in and played in the water more than in the past. The two babies enjoyed the water more than anyone...they didn't want out of it and kept jumping in to play! Saturday night, we headed into Park City for a quick dinner and to finish off the night watching the Park City fireworks. CAMPING/BOATING WITH 6 KIDS = 4 EXHAUSTED PARENTS + 6 EXHAUSTED KIDS = ABSOLUTELY FUN FUN WEEKEND WITH LOTS OF MEMORIES!!
