Easton's 1st Birthday

Friday (January 21st), my baby turned ONE.  I can't believe it has been a year since this little guy came to us.  Boston had preschool Friday morning and then we decided to meet up with Whitney and Sadie and go to the mall to the Build-A-Bear workshop.  The entire time, Easton just HUGGED his stuffed puppy TIGHT.  Boston and Sadie had fun stuffing, giving it a heart, fluffing (air bath), scrubbing and then dressing their animals they chose.  Sadie couldn't leave without a PINK bear or outfit and Boston wanted a doggie to dress.  He also got a pair of pj's.  He has been diligent in feeding and dressing his little dog (day and night).  What a fun afternoon at Build-A-Bear!!  Happy 1st Birthday Easton!!

Later that night, we met up and went to dinner.  We waited at a restaurant for a long time for dinner and then realized with that many kids that a faster place may be better.  We went to Hires for dinner and then went to Jungle Jims to play.  Thank you for joining us for a low-key night of fun at Jungle Jims.

As we were at Jungle Jims Playland that night, the parents were sitting around talking about how different our Friday nights are now ... A Friday night use to consist of an enjoyable dinner and a quiet movie and now we find ourselves out to fast food and then Jungle Jims on a Friday night..... and I wouldn't change it.  We love our boys so much.  I don't know where the last year went to and we're trying to eat up every memory with these two little ones.  Easton is so much fun right now! I love his babblings, his crawling, his laughing and everything else that comes with him.  He makes me happy. I love how him and Boston play so well together (most of the time) and see his face light up when his dad comes through the door in the evening from work to play with him.  He has brought a lot of joy to our family and we are grateful for his little personality.  We were scared to have a second baby because Boston was so mellow and easy going so we were worried that Easton would be a trouble maker.  He is opposite.  He is the most easy-going little boy and we are so happy to have him in our family.  Easton and Boston are most definitely our entire world!!  We love you and hope you had a great 1ST BIRTHDAY!!  XOXOXO
