Nick's birthday at the cabin

Nick's birthday was on January 13th and he said the only thing he wanted for his birthday was to enjoy some snowmobiling with his family at the cabin.  The four of us packed up Friday afternoon and headed up to the cabin with Nick's parents and sister Rylee (missed you Blake, Whit, Eddie and Sadie).  We had such a good time and Nick had a great birthday.

Boston and Rylee snuggling up and watching movies

Rylee had a little accident with the snowmobile.  Her and Nick went on a ride and the snowmobile started tipping, Rylee stayed on, and the snowmobile pinned her foot - this is a picture of the swelling and bruising - it looked even worse in person.  We are hoping that she'll agree to come up again with us.  She was still a trooper and went snowshoeing and sledding with her foot (and even skiing Monday with it).  OUCH!

Rylee was Boston's best bud this weekend.  I kept asking him if he wanted to go sledding. His response ...
"Yes, but I want to go with Ry Ry"

Boston sitting on his wall of snow!!  He kept asking daddy to throw him up again and again and again.  This is dad pooped from throwing him up again and again and again.

Happy Birthday Nick!!

Boston and Nick blowing out the birthday candles!  It was a yummy "Nothing Bundt Cake"  YUMMY

I Love this picture.  Nick built Boston a snow tunnel and he had so much fun sliding down through it.  What a fun dad.

Warming up with some hot cider and cocoa after playing in the snow!

Long day of playing in the snow - fell asleep watching Despicable Me

Nick is the best dad in the world!  He loves his two little boys more than anything. I  love to watch him interact with both of them and see their faces light up each night when he walks in the door from work.  They are proud of their hard-working, fun-loving, extra-caring dad.

Nick, I'm so thankful for you and for the love you show to Boston and Easton.  They are lucky to have you as a dad.  I am so thankful for you - I truly found my best friend.  Thank you for always supporting me with anything and everything I choose to do.  And most of all, thank you for working so hard this year so that I can stay home with our boys.  We both know what a blessing this has been for our family!  You are the best and  I hope you had a GREAT birthday!  Love you with all my heart!!!
