Last weekend was Grandpa Brad's 60th birthday party. We all met at Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Papa didn't want to sit on the saddle so Sadie and Easton took his turn on the saddle. We all wrote down our favorite memories about him and put him in a bag for him to read. Boston said that he loves when Papa brings him McDonalds to his house to eat. Nick had numerous memories with his dad. I wrote lots of outdoor memories about him - two memories that came to mind first were our crashes we had. Our first was at Park City skiing and I stopped right in front him to turn on a run that I thought we all agreed on at the top of the hill but they changed their mind during the run and I wasn't sure where to stop and stopped too soon and Brad plowed into me - we both went plummeting to the ground and he went down the mountain into some trees with both skis in the air. Another was mountain biking in Park City and I practically did the same thing. We were going downhill (I was just starting out in the mountain biking department) and stopped in the middle of the trail (going downhill) and he was right behind me and we had another collision. I also enjoyed many backpacking overnighters that he took Nick and I on, trips to the yurt, snow shoeing, boating at Lake Powell - he loves the outdoors and showed me many new adventures in the outdoors. We hope you had a very good 60th birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA!!
