It may take me a few days to get all these pictures downloaded, edited and put on the blog but I'm going to give it a try.
Nick and I just got back from a Southern Caribbean Cruise on Royal Caribbean on the Adventure of the Seas ship with our besties the Nelsons (Brandon and Jodi)! Can I just say .... we had the time of our lives!!! It was the best trip we've taken - had a BLAST!!!! And we're getting ready to plan our next trip with them again!!!
We left on Saturday night and boarded a red-eye flight at 11:59 pm to San Juan Puerto Rico. We had a layover in North Carolina and touched down in Puerto Rico on Sunday morning around 11:30 am. We got our bags, changed into shorts and waited for the Nelsons to arrive about an hour later. We took a taxi (crazy driver) to the ship. We boarded the ship and checked out our rooms and the ship for the remainder of the afternoon. We had dinner that night at our scheduled early dining time of 6 pm in our Dining Room (the Vivaldi on Deck 3). We were served by our Head Waiter Osden (funny guy from India who tried really hard to have a sense of humor). We did have him 'giggling' by the end of the week. We also had Julio serve us (assistant waiter) who never missed a beat getting another full Coke before the one before was empty. We left San Juan that night around 8 am and headed for our first stop, St. Croix, USVI. That night we went to a welcome show at the Lyric, checked out the casino, Jesters Lounge, and then had a dip in the hot tub. We were then off to bed since we were getting up around 6 am for our first adventure.
