Thanksgiving 2012

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we went to the Scott house and had a Thanksgiving dinner that Sunday with everyone.  Then it was off to Vernal for Thanksgiving this year.  My mom cooked this year at her house.  We had my Grandma and Grandpa Walker, mom, dad, Jordan surprised us from Idaho, Taylor, Nick and I with the kids and Alexis and Mike with their kids.  EVERYONE was there this year and it was so nice and the food was DELICIOUS!!!!

During Thanksgiving dinner, my dad asked us to each go around (starting oldest to youngest) stating the things they were thankful for this year.  It was so neat to have everyone state the things they were grateful for.  There are so many things to be thankful for.  I am so grateful for such a wonderful family!!    I am grateful to have the opportunity to have my own family now, be a mother and raise these precious soles.  I am thankful for a wonderful husband who is such a hard worker and always making sure his little family has everything they need and are happy.  This year, I'm thankful for good health.  I'm especially grateful for a loving Savior and the gospel of Jesus Christ that I am a part of and for his plan of happiness with the opportunity I have of being a forever family!!!!

Thanksgiving night, my mom, Alexis, Taylor and I went for a little pre-sale Black Friday shopping.  It was a successful night.  We slept in on Black Friday.  The boys went up on the mountain and went fishing on Friday while the girls went to the Holly Days Fair, Charity of Trees, McDonalds, and a little more shopping until the boys were DONE DONE shopping!!  Saturday we all went shooting near my parent's home.  Nick wanted to try out some guns to see if possibly Santa would fulfill his christmas wish list.

Taylor helping Boston and Grayson make turkeys out of Oreo Cookies, malted milk balls, candy corn, etc.  They turned out so cute and the boys loved these over the pies!!
