Vernal Trip

Last week Nick was suppose to fly out to New Jersey for some training at ADP's headquarters.  Due to Hurricane Sandy and and the following snow storm, his flight was cancelled and the training postposted until after the first of the year.  I had planned to go to Vernal while he was gone since Boston didn't have school either due to Parent Teacher Conferences.   Out in Vernal we enjoyed some quality time with my family.  The kids played with Gage and Grayson outside in the nice nice weather. Alexis, my mom and I did some crafts (I definitely wasn't as gifted in that department as my two sisters and very crafty mom) but we had a lot of fun painting.  Thursday we went to lunch at the 7-11 Ranch Cafe with Nikki, Tawny, Ashley, Grandma, Mom, Alexis and I (along with some of the kids).  It was fun to get together with all of them!!  

We did cut our trip short though due to the massive storm that hit us.  I left Thursday night around 8:30 and made it back to Salt Lake around 11:30 pm with the kids.  It had already started snowing up near Strawberry / Daniels Summit.  By Sunday, we had about 2 feet of snow at our house!!
