We went to Vernal for Easter this year. Saturday morning, we woke up early and went with my sister Alexis and her family to the Dinosaur Museum where the kids had an Easter Egg hunt in the museum. They would let a certain number of kids into the museum at one time and they would restock the eggs in between groups. It didn't matter how many eggs you found ... you handed the empty eggs in at the end of the hunt and got to choose from some prizes there. The boys were in heaven hunting around and looking at the dinosaur museum (although I have to say that I was a bit disappointed at the newly opened dinosaur museum ... I was anticipating it to be more for kids inside since it was new). The boys got to see Dippy the Dinosaur as we were waiting in line. After the egg hunt, we went to Jubilee Grocery Store where the kids got to decorate their own cupcakes and see the Easter Bunny, receive a toy and a balloon. Then we joined my mom's family and went to Horseshoe Bend in Jensen for a picnic. We ate lunch, the boys got to enjoy another easter egg hunt, and we rode four wheelers and my cousin's rhino. That night we were exhausted so we just watched TV and went to bed. The Easter Bunny found us in Vernal and Easton got a new big boy bike so he could ride with Boston. Boston got a new Wii game and a tee ball bat for his upcoming tee ball season which starts next week. Both boys are going to start playing this year together. Sunday, after finding easter baskets and eggs, we went to church and then enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with all my siblings and parents (minus Jordan who was in Idaho). It was a fun weekend with my family.

Looks like a fun Vernal trip! We haven't been out there for a long time. We need to plan something together now that the weather is warming up :)
