What a perfect day for a baby blessing. We had planned to bless Payten on fast Sunday the 14th of April but my entire family (parents, siblings, nephews, etc.) all got the stomach flu so we postponed the blessing to the 21st. The weather was nice outside and everyone was feeling better so it worked out even better. Nick gave Payten a wonderful blessing. Afterwards, we had a luncheon at our house - it was nice to have family share this memorable day with us. Payten looked like an angel in the dress that my mom made her!! (Mom, thanks for all your hard work in making this special dress for her blessing day - I loved it and thought she looked so pretty in it -- Love you Mom)!
