A couple weekends ago, we went with the Nelsons to Rockport. Brandon, Sydney and Jaxson joined us on Friday night. We left after work and went up and set up camp. We roasted hot dogs and had s'mores that night and talked around the fire for quite some time. I bought some little wooden airplanes to play with and they played non-stop that night and the next morning. We went to sleep (or at least tried). That night, almost the entire campground was one whole family except us and one other tent. They were all up drunk, laughing, swearing, and telling prison stories ... made it hard to fall asleep. But overall we had a great time up there. Brandon and Nick went fishing for a couple of hours in the morning while I stayed with all the kids. Then Jodi joined us in the afternoon for some boating (first time she left baby London home for an adventure). The weather has not cooperated with us very well on our boating trips this year but we made the best of it. We enjoyed the tube on the windy waters. We had to finally end the tube when a wind storm came roaring across the water but ended up eating at the Oakley Polar King before heading home.
