Last week, her dad Brandon, had a Stapedectomy (procedure on his ear for hearing loss that he has). The procedure didn't go very well and he ended up having vertigo and they knew something was wrong. He ended up having to go back in and have another procedure done so Sydney got to come to our house last night and have a sleep over while dad stayed overnight in the hospital and Jaxson went to Grandma's house. The kids brushed and Nick got them ready for bed while I put Easton down. It was so cute to hear Nick with the kids in on their knees praying for Brandon to get better. Then it was in bed and as all sleepovers usually go, the kids giggled for hours last night but finally went to sleep. They slept all night. Boston went to preschool this morning and Sydney and Easton tried to play nicely with each other. It was much better when Boston got home from school. They played outside and in Boston's room while I got some work done for BTJD. Then I packed us up a picnic lunch and we went to a park. We ate in the sun and the kids enjoyed running around and playing on the playground ... wore them right out (or so I thought). On our way to take Sydney back home, the kids were GIGGLING AND GIGGLING, saying funny things (I guess the park wore me out and not them). haha We dropped Sydney off and I heard "Goodbye Sweetie" to each other.

You're such a good friend to take Sydney over night and all day today, complete with entertainment and putting up with Easton and Sydney "trying" to get along, that made me laugh. :) Sure do appreciate all you do for our family! Brandon scarfed down his delicious cookie and said it was so good. Sydney had a ball today and she was in fact worn out. She took a nap next to daddy :) and when she woke up said where is Boston? I'm sure she'll talk about her first sleepover with Boston for a long time. Love you guys! xo
