This past weekend was the Walker Family Reunion. My grandparents (Merlin and Carolyn Walker) were over it this year. They all decided on the Heber Valley Camp to meet. We went up Friday evening for dinner (we missed the paddle boats and canoes that night with everyone). We enjoyed a dutch oven cook-off dinner between the Walker siblings and sang songs around the make do campfire with s'mores for dessert (couldn't build fires due to the extreme heat season and fire danger right now). I think they said there are 9 active fires at the moment and it is only the end of June. I even made my Great-Grandma Lucy's boiled raisin cookies that she use to make. It reminds me of her every time I make them. We had 6 cabins we all stayed in - each was equipped with 16 beds. We shared a cabin with my sister Alexis and her family. I thought the baby would keep us up but it ended up being Easton keeping everyone up that night. He started out in Nick's bed, moved to my bed. Boston started on the top bunk, then moved down and by the end of the night I was in a twin bunk with both boys (needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night). Every time Easton woke up, he woke Baby Gage up and then everyone was up. I couldn't decide if I was ready for morning to come or not. Boston was the first one up having to pee. He went outside and sat with my dad for about an hour feeding chips to the squirrels who would come right up to them. We visited with everyone in the morning after our pancake, fruit and cereal breakfast. Then we headed to the lake and hiked around the lake (it was sooooo hot outside). They let my family back on the lake in the paddleboats and canoes. Easton and Boston had a fun time going around the lake. We laughed because there was a canoe with a guy and his son who followed Mike and Logan almost the entire ride (ride on their back side). We went back for a Subway lunch, played some games, and cleaned up camp. I wasn't too good about taking pictures of my extended family at this reunion but here are the few that I took of my immediate family. I know my mom, Nikki and grandparents put a lot of work into this reunion. We had a great time :)

| This is the couple that would not leave Mike and Logan alone - funny thing is that I'm not sure Mike and Logan even noticed but we watched these two guys follow them so closely for at least 15 minutes of their ride - haha |

Gotta love family re-unions!!! :) The place looks pretty and fun (minus lack of sleep = no fun at all).
