Sister Time

The first weekend of August, my sister, her hubby and kids came to visit us.  They came out on Thursday through Sunday.  Thursday night, Nick was working and Mike went to a concert downtown.  Alexis and I took the boys to Big Bear Park near our house.

 Friday we went to Classic Fun in Sandy to their waterpark.  They had their baby so they took turns taking Grayson down the water slides.  Both my boys wanted to go down the slides but neither would ride by themselves so I was making 3 laps with each and then we would switch.  They liked going down the "Octopus" and "Turtle" slides.  Nick met up with us after work and  we ran over to Chick Fil-A for dinner and then back to Classic Fun for the kids to play in the Jungle Maze and the bounce houses.  They had a blast.  While the kids were playing, the adults were playing "Let's Make a Deal in the Arcades" - yes ... Friday night activities for us now :)  We won enough tickets that each kid could go get a prize.  Boston and Grayson got some awesome looking glasses - funny!

The next day, Nick went to stay with his dad in the hospital while we went to Sadie's birthday party at Jungle Jim's.  We took Grayson with us so my sister and Mike could run some errands they needed to get done while out here.  Then we were off to the lake.  The boys had a blast at the party. Happy 4th Birthday Sadie Jane!

 After the party, we went home and headed to Deer Creek for the evening.  We all went for a tube ride.  I still get nervous driving the boat but I think it was the funniest thing to see Nick and Mike out on the tube trying to force the other one off, dancing, and goofing off.  Nick, Mike and I wake boarded.  Baby Gage wasn't sure he liked the boat at first but was good once we started going for a long ride.  We had a great night (perfect air and water temperature).
