Last week was Boston's first day of preschool (for his third year) with Mrs. Brimhall. We decided to wait to put him into Kindergarten until next year. I think he would be ready for school and a lot of factors went into our decision but decided what could one more year of preschool hurt. I would rather him be the oldest than the youngest in his grade ad maybe have one more year to grow a bit more! Boston is only in the 2% for height and weight so it couldn't hurt to wait, right? But given the height of his mom and dad, maybe he doesn't have much of a chance to grow tall!! We moved him to a new school (he was with Mrs. King for two years ... she was WONDERFUL)!! I absolutely loved her as a teacher and can't wait for next year to put Easton in her class. She was a very warm and caring teacher and made such a difference in his life. He loved her. We are excited to start another year and learn some new skills before using those in kindergarten next year. He has enjoyed starting school (and I have loved being able to spend a few hours a week alone with just Easton as well ... that will only be for a few more months til baby sister joins us but for now we are enjoying our time while Boston is away and learning and having fun!) His first day was Critter Day and anyone that knows Boston knows that he LOVES stuffed animals of every kind so he had a hard decision deciding which stuffed anima/critter to take that day. He eventually decided on his Utah Teddy Bear (GO UTES ... I'm afraid they'll need all the help they can get this season). I love him learning new stuff but it's sad to see him grow up sooooo fast!
