Conference weekend at the cabin(s)

Conference weekend, we went up to the cabin(s) to spend a little time before the snow comes up there. Friday Nick had off work and we got some things checked off our (fall to do list - to get ready for winter) ... winterized the boat, cleaned up the leaves that have fallen, cleaned up all the messy pears from our pear trees, winterized the swamp cooler, etc.  Then we headed up to the Scott cabin in Oakley again.  When we got up there we headed to the lake just until it got dark for a little bit of fishing in the cold.  Then we headed back to cook some pizzas.  Then we watched a Redbox kid movie with the boys (all of us in bed) and ate popcorn.  I think Nick and I were fast asleep before either of the boys.
We all slept in until 10 am (wow - that hasn't happened forever) then up to fix our conference breakfast of French toast and sausage.  We listened to the morning session of conference then headed over to Josh and Shantelle's cabin just about 1-2 miles up the road from ours.  We spent the rest of Saturday and Sunday over there.  We played some horse shoes, the kids explored and played games and we got a four wheeler ride in as well with a little fishing to end it all.  I didn't get any pics at the Ericson cabin except for out on the snowmobiles ... too busy relaxing and having fun.  It was pretty chilly up there outside - I put socks on the boys' hands just to go on our four wheeler ride since we didn't anticipate it being that cold up there and we weren't prepared with our winter stuff.

Easton completely potty trained himself and has had no accidents (what more could an expecting mom want from her toddler?)  He has done awesome with his 'big boy underwear'
