Visit from Giovanna and kids

Tuesday I got a call from one of my former mission companions.  She was in town with family for the week and wanted to go to lunch.  We took all four kids (she has 2 boys and we have 2 boys) and went to Sapa downtown for some sushi lunch.  The kids ate sooooo much and the sushi was delicious!  It was a great lunch and we chatted forever.  I think our server wanted to boot us out but we were trying to catch up on life.  Gabe taught the boys how to use the the training chopsticks and they had a blast watching him eat his sushi with chopsticks and had to try.  Her family is from Peru (where Nick served in Chiclayo) and then moved and grew up mostly in Miami.  She is married and has two kids and they live in San Antonio, Texas where her hubby is doing his gyno residency.  It was so good to catch up and see her and the cute kiddos she brought!!   Miss you Gio!
