Feb & March Randoms

Boston working on his kindergarten homework (and Easton wanting to do homework) we make projects for Easton to color because he loves doing what his big brother is doing

Lunchdate with Rylee, Grandma Kathy, Great-Grandma Davis and Whitney with all the kids

We went to visit Grandma at the Wellington.  Easton took his Guess Who game and was showing Grandma how to play.  She played along and he loved it.  He wanted to stay there and keeps asking when we are going back to play games!  He loves to play games (just like his momma)

Happy Girl!!  She is always smiling!

Boston had to make a box car somehow for school.  They took their 'cars' around to different stations within the school to learn about patriotic things from the Bald Eagle, Flag, Mt. Rushmore, Statute of Liberty, Lincoln Memorial, etc.  Boston wanted a taxi cab car  - so this is our finished project.  The students also had a state picked out for them and Boston's state was West Virginia.  We learned that West Virginia was the first state with no sales tax, the state where the Golden Delicious apple originated, the longest suspension bridge in the world and second tallest in the US, 75% is covered with forest, Mountain State, 15% of Nation's coal comes from there.

I left this project til the end (a little procrastination).  We had a week to do it.  I had to work Monday and then came home and did the dinner and bedtime routine.  Then it was off to make the car ... I was outside on the lawn at midnight with a spray paint can in hand and a headlamp....why oh why did I procrastinate.  Boston didn't even get to finish helping with the project but was happy in the morning to see his TAXI.

Rylee and Blake had a gender reveal party that we attended on Feb 18th.  Their doctor put the gender on a piece of paper and sealed it up.  They took it to Zurchers and an employee got the correct color of silly string, took the lids off, and placed them in a box.  We were all instructed to wear pink if we thought they were having a girl and blue if we thought they were having a boy.  Easton said it must be a boy because he was NOT wearing PINK!  Nick, me, and Payten were all in our pink and here is the rest of the pink clan!  They counted down and everyone sprayed them ... it was PINK.  Their little girl is due in August and we are happy that Payten will have a little girl cousin to play with in August.
