It was suppose to be a surprise date night with Nick and I but he asks too many questions and has too many plans that it didn't turn out to be a surprise but I had got a room in Park City at the Chateaux. Aunt Rylee and Uncle Blake were nice enough to watch our boys overnight at our house while we enjoyed ourselves for a night out in Park City. The kids played at Chuck E Cheese and had dinner at the food court at the mall - they got to go to the Park and play toys with them ... they were in good hands and had a good time while mom and dad caught up on some 'couple' time. We had dinner at their restaurant (Cena Ristorante) outside overlooking the mountain and mmmmm ... was it GOOD! I ordered Pene Chicken Pasta and Nick ordered a Steak/potatoes and it was the best meal we have had in a long time. It was fabulous! We enjoyed their hot tub there and the next morning, we had breakfast on the deck at the Stein Erickson Lodge (gorgeous outside). Then we toured the new Montage Hotel up there and it was beautiful. We played bean bag toss and frisbee golf at their new property. It was a fun fun evening/morning together with my sweetie! XOXO

Then we met up with the boys and Nick's family for another afternoon/evening on the lake. The kids had an enjoyable time on the tube and we enjoyed swimming and a little tubing. Blake and Nick tried out the rope swing again and best of all was all of us on the boat watching Nick take his mom, Rylee and Sadie for a tube ride they will never forget (submerged).

On Sunday after church, we went up to the cabin to visit Grandma Scott before she heads to St. George for the winter. We had dinner with her and Aunt Sharon (mmm ... we had some yummy coconut shrimp they had made - delicious. Boston devoured his shrimp and went back 4 times for more shrimp). We ran up to the lake and had a quick four wheeler ride. Boston was sad when his shoe hit the side of the four wheeler which was extremely hot and melted his favorite shoes on the side. We took Boston's little tiny Lightning McQueen fishing pole and caught a big fish (especially big for the lake up there - it was 17 1/2" long) and I think Boston's pole can't be more than 2 feet long - the fish was almost as long as his pole!! It was fun to see him reel it in (I thought at one time the fish was going to win and the pole was going to be in the water along with Boston! While Nick was helping Boston with his fish, I took the pole and threw the line in just for fun ... I also got one (but it was much much much smaller). Nick caught another one. We had 3 fish in just 5 casts so it was a good night on the lake. The entire way back to the cabin, Easton was telling me "Hold It, Hold It" - he wanted to hold the fish so bad so we let him - he couldn't stop staring at it (even for a picture).
