I can't believe Easton is four years old. Seems like yesterday, they were placing him in my arms at the hospital for the first time. We love our little Easton Walker Scott!!
Yesterday he had preschool where he was the special helper. We also took treats for his class for his birthday. He was most excited about his "Happy Birthday" hat that he got from Mrs. King that we wore most of the day. After school, we picked up Boston from school and went to McDonalds by popular demand where we played for two hours. We went home and made our cupcakes for the party. We had a pirate party at Chuck E Cheese where he invited a few friends. Each friend was given 20 tokens. The kids got to play games where they received tickets to buy prizes. The kids had pizza and drinks then watched a show while Chuck E Cheese himself showed up to dance and sing with the kids. He blew out his candle on his cupcake and then the kids finished up with their games. We had also made some pirate favor bags for all the kids which included a pirate bandana, eye patch, gold tokens and some candy. Easton had such a fun day! He got some presents including a polar express train that he really wanted for his big day.
Dear Easton:
I am so grateful that you are in our family! We love you so much and couldn't imagine life without you. You have so many wonderful qualities already. You are so smart. You are writing your name already and enjoying preschool. Mrs. King always comments how much you love to color and write. My favorite thing is when you come and ask me to make cookies (which is almost daily). We love making cookies while Boston is in school - it is our one on one time and I love the joy in your face as we measure and bake in the kitchen together which I'm sure you will grow out of sometime soon!
I love your smile with your little dimple and that contagious laugh. I know it takes you a little to wake up in the mornings but love when I finally see that smile come to. I can't believe you are four years old. Seems like yesterday I held you in my arms in the hospital and we brought you home. Now you are running and playing ball (soccer, t-ball, basketball, tennis, swimming) and loving all these things. We love you so much Easton Walker Scott!!
XOXOXO Happy 4th Birthday!
Love Mom (and Dad)
