January date nights

We love our date nights in our family.  We have decided that those nights are when we really get to be with our kids one on one and really know what is making them tick and talk about the things they like, dislike, and how proud we are of them.  Brad & Kathy had some Jazz tickets and so Nick took Boston to the game with them.  They went to the Jazz v OKC game and had great seats.  Boston came home and was so happy that he and his dad danced like crazy and were on "TV" (the new big jumbo trons).  Easton and I had ramen noodles at home and then went out for dessert.  That little boy is just like his momma (likes sweets anytime of the day).  We went to Sweet Tooth Fairy where I got myself a Diet Coke and a cupcake.  Easton got a tummy yummy drink with some cake bites (his favorites are Red Velvet & Carmel). He even picked out Boston's favorite (Lemon and Red Velvet) to take home to him...how thoughtful.

A few nights later, Nick and I went to Flemmings for dinner and went to the Jazz game just the two of us! Fun game (the Jazz got killed in the second half of the game but it was fun to get out together with no kiddos and just talk and people watch together)!

All of these date nights are SO important i think, way to make time, as it can be so hard (both as a couple AND one-on-ones). Love the cheeser pic of Easton eating sweets... so cute! :)
